Fiske is a hamlet in the Rural Municipality of Pleasant Valley No. 288, on Highway 7 about 54 kilometres east of Kindersley and 31 kilometres west of Rosetown.
Today the local economy rests mainly on grain farming, ranching and the trades, and oil and gas work has recently opened up as another source of income in the area. The hamlet has an ice arena, a community hall and a few home businesses, and many residents head to nearby Rosetown for other services.
